Unfortunately, yesterday I was contacted by another individual who has been asked to vacate his home. Despite, (he informs me) that he tried everything in his power to strike a deal alas in about a week he has to leave his home. I have again relied on the good services of Threshold to meet him and hopefully work out a solution. Again, I came to this situation very late in the day so I would appeal to all who have problems in this area to talk to someone about it.
The Government published a number of solutions to be enacted by the Banks and to be fair I have come across banks who are willing to engage (sometimes in a somewhat snotty way) but hopefully this new response by the government will give owners of primary (family) homes a sense of relief that there is someone in their corner. Unfortunately, in many cases, their may be no workable solution and change is inevitable and I say to all who find themselves in this situation, plough on because the wheel always turns and dont be worried about what other people would say. Keep your family and friends who support you around you and get rid of those who aren’t in your corner!
