Awwww such a pity to take my lovely tree down but its a new year and hopefully it will bring better times as we go on……

Cork County Council has announced that Christmas trees will be accepted for recycling at its Civic Amenity Sites throughout the County after Christmas until January 31st 2015.

The Council is waiving its usual €3 entry fee where the public only present a Christmas tree for recycling at any of the 11 Civic Amenity Sites in the County. There are no other official drop-off points for Christmas trees other than the Civic Amenity Sites.

The last date for presentation to a Civic Amenity Sites is Saturday January 31st 2015. Please note that only Christmas trees will be accepted. Items such as tree stands and decorations will incur a charge.

Cork County Council has eleven (11) Civic Amenity Sites (Recycling Centres) open six days a week except where stated. These are situated at:
