Visit of Queen Elizabeth 11

I must say well done to our President, Government, Defence Forces and Gardai and all involved in the State Visit to date.  They did us proud and I cant help but reflect on Her Majesty’s words tonight in Dublin Castle.  I believe her words have placed some balm on unhappy times in our joint history and our President Mary MacAleese has crowned her Presidency by extending the hand of friendship to all sides which culminated in this historic occasion.  Hopefully, both nations can become solid neighbours who support and assist each other in the future.  I have a grandson (with red hair) who is 50% Irish,50% English and 100% cute and I want both countries to live together in harmony for his sake and all families who are interconnected.  Incidentally, wasn’t it great to hear Her Majesty speak in Irish?
